South East Supercar Club
Marketing Director
I run a supercar members club with two friends, we organise events, track days, tours and more for our 500+ members. Our largest event to date attracted over 200 supercars and raised over £12k for charity. As it is a small team my role is varied but my main responsibilities include:
- Managing social media pages
- Collecting and processing media content after events
- Creating trip itineraries and promotional material
- Collaborating with sponsors
- Co-ordinating events
Finsen Tech
Digital Marketing Co-ordinator
I completed an 18 month digital marketing placement with Finsen Tech during a year out from university (extra 6 months due to university closing during covid). During this time I created and grew social media pages on all major platforms. I also worked with a third-party company to completely redo their website and bring this up to date. For a lot of my time at Finsen I was the only member of the digital marketing team, this was challenging at times but ultimately has helped me to learn a large amount in a relatively short period of time. My day to day responsibilities included:
- Creating weekly/monthly social media post schedules to collaborate with product specific campaigns
- Creating and populating new site pages for the website
- Communicating with a global network of distributors to obtain and distribute marketing content
- Creating monthly analytics reports for social media and website performance
- Planning and creating content for virtual product launches
- Photography of new products or customer products in action
- Regular catch ups with the US marketing team to discuss new campaigns and content strategies
Trifast PLC
Summer Marketing Internship
Trifast is a global manufacturer and distributor of industrial fasteners. I spent two months working with their marketing department in 2016. This was my first real introduction to marketing, I learnt a lot and this has helped to shape a path for the rest of my career.
During my time with Trifast I:
- Created marketing material with a mixture of photography and design software (mainly Photoshop)
- Created and published new webpages on the website
- Wrote schedules for upcoming social media campaigns
- Wrote press releases before and after events
- Produced market research reports on industries and geographic areas
- Created computer generated 3D models and animations, using blender, for use in promotional material
- Responded to email and phone enquiries
AFTV
Social Media and Content Creator
AFTV is a football influencer focused social media company. Youtube is the primary focus but total following across all platforms is over 4 million.
During my time with AFTV I:
- Designed social media campaigns
- Attended social media meetings with a high-profile influencers
- Input social media insights and figures into an Excel spreadsheet to track growth
- Created and posted content to social media channels
- Created and grew TikTok account from 0 to over 150,000 followers
- Tracked and incorporated current trends into content
